Morning

  • Short film: 200 Years of NOAA
  • Digital levels for Geodetic Leveling
  • Basic operation of currently accepted instrumentation
  • Need and practice of hand recording metadata
  • Break up into groups for hands-on leveling
    • Collimation check

  • Observe and store data
  • Take turns running instrument and rods
