DATA FILES
Files created externally to but necessary for processing
These files include the
RINEX
files created from the GPS receiver raw data
and the precise ephemeris. Generally, these are created before and externally
to the run_survey processing.
- RINEX
observation ("o") files
REQUIRED
LOCATED IN THE yr_doy DIRECTORY OR data SUBDIRECTORY

Data must be converted to
RINEX
formats outside of
run_survey. Multiple "o" files for one session must be
concatenated into a single file using cato or a similar program.
- RINEX
navigation ("n") files
REQUIRED
LOCATED IN THE yr_doy DIRECTORY OR data SUBDIRECTORY

At least one navigation message file must be available. The "n" file does
not necessarily have to come from one of the sites being processed but must
cover the same time span as the data.
- precise ephemeris
OPTIONAL
LOCATED IN THE yr_doy DIRECTORY OR data SUBDIRECTORY

These programs are capable of using either precise or broadcast ephemerides.
Several ephemeris formats are recognized: SP3 (default), SP1, or a binary
format used internally within NGS for orbit generation.
