THE SHAFT IS 5 FEET HT3257'HIGH, 1.8 FEET SQUARE AT ITS TOP AND 2 FEET SQUARE AT ITS HT3257'BASE. THE PEDESTAL IS 2.55 FEET SQUARE AND 1 FOOT THICK, AND HT3257'CONTAINS NO INCH BEVEL ON TOP ON WHICH SHAFT RESTS AS IS HT3257'STATED IN DESCRIPTION. THE FOUNDATION FOR THE MONUMENT IS OF HT3257'BRICK MASONRY WHICH IS CRUMBLING AND HAS ALLOWED THE SHAFT HT3257'AND PEDESTAL TO TILT, SO THAT THE CENTER OF THE TOP OF THE HT3257'SHAFT, MARKED WITH A SMALL INDENTATION IS ABOUT 1.1 FEET N HT3257'OF ITS ORIGINAL POSITION AND THERE IS A CLOCKWISE TWIST OF HT3257'THE SHAFT AROUND ITS NE CORNER OF ABOUT ONE INCH ON THE HT3257'PEDESTAL. THE SHAFT AND PEDESTAL TEETERS WHEN SLIGHTLY HT3257'PUSHED, AND THE MONUMENT COULD VERY EASILY BE SHOVED OVER. IT HT3257'IS POSSIBLE TO SEE BETWEEN THE MASONRY FOUNDATION AND HT3257'THE PEDESTAL, AND A 10-INCH SQUARE FORM MADE OF 1-INCH MATERIAL HT3257'ABOUT CENTERED IN THE FOUNDATION IS VISIBLE, AND IT IS THOUGHT HT3257'THAT A MARK MAY BE LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE MATERIAL HT3257'ENCLOSED BY THE FORM BUT IT WAS NOT DISCERNIBLE BECAUSE OF HT3257'THE SMALL CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE TWO. IT IS PROPOSED THAT GRADING AND HT3257'CONSTRUCTION WILL BEING DURING NOVEMBER 1950.
