Description:	The bench mark is a disk located in the center of the foundation of an old signal tower at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site, 44.3 m (145.3 ft) NE of the SE corner of the main Life-Saving Station building, 34.4 m (112.8 ft) SSW of the centerline of Laura Lane, 23.2 m (76.0 ft) WNW of a historic marker for a cistern, and 17.7 m (58.2 ft) east of the eastern edge of a sidewalk leading from the main Life-Saving Station building to a restroom.
