The bench mark is a flange encased deep rod with a sleeve driven 8.2 m (27 ft) to refusal located on a grassy ridge. It is 258 m (847 ft) east-northeast of the high water line on the northeastern tip of the spit across the lagoon, 75 m (246 ft) north-northeast of bench mark 946 8841 B, 30 m (98 ft) east-southeast of the high water line of the Golovnin Lagoon, and 20 m (66 ft) northwest of the high water line of a small tidal slough. The top of the rod is 7 cm (3 inches) below ground level. |
