The bench mark is located on a grassy high point of a sandy spit protruding into Golovnin Lagoon, 215 m (705.4 ft) west-southwest of bench mark 946 8841 D, 189 m (620.1 ft) south of the north tip of the spit the mark in on, 29.1 m (95.5 ft) east of the high water line of the main body of Golovnin Lagoon and 6.14 m (20.1 ft) west-southwest of the high water line of a small inner cove to the east of the spit. The mark is a flange encased deep rod with a sleeve, driven 12.8 m (42.0 ft) to refusal. |
