* SUGGESTION for TESTING PROCESS: The testing group should provide summaries such as the one above for antenna heights.
* ROY: The field sheets need to be updated.
* Q: Why is my HP not printing out the font I select within the document?
* Q: In processing baselines does non-trivial vs trivial matter at all? ie do we need to process all baselines? Does this gain us information or is it wasteful of time? The only one held fixed is NBS5 with a known position is NBS5.

DAY086

Five stations observed were NBS0, NBS1, NBS3, NBS5, and ORM1. These stations were occupied for two 2-hour sessions at a 5 second recording interval and a 5 degree elevation mask. All stations had fixed height tripods provided by FGCS. Session A started at 1630 UTC and ended at 1830 UTC. Session B was scheduled to obtain redundant measurements for the short baselines measured in session A. Since fixed height tripods were used, no tripod resetting was deemed necessary. Session B started at 1835 UTC and ended at 2035 UTC. The only problems experienced were power problems. Stations NBS5 and NBS0 each lost about 10 minutes of data when their batteries died.

FIXED STATION: NBS5: 39o 07' 48.36855" N 077o 12' 54.11628" W Used the fixed station position from NBS5 only (set to '0' zero -- the rest of the positions were at '8').

To make room, blew away RINEX files on GATEWAY and all other data days other than 086 to make room for processing. Checked all antenna heights (see above list). Use LAPLINK to move data on and off processing computer.

Each line will first derive a triple difference solution and then go through (default) 10 iterations for a double difference solution. The short baselines used an L1 only solution.

* Q: What would be the difference if set to L1/L2 solution?

Used default processing parameters. Data was collected at 5 second sampling rate and was not thinned. Elevation cut off angle was default of 15o.

* SUGGESTION FOR ASHTECH: Display cutoff angle to screen while processing.

Line Computation Times:

NBS5 to NBS0 ~20 minutes ~8000+ measurements

NBS5 to NBS1 ~10:32 - 10:46 ~14 minutes ~9000 measurements

NBS5 to NBS3 ~10:46 - 10:59 ~15 minutes

NBS5 to ORM1 ~10:59-11:17 ~18 minutes

NBS3 to NBS0

Something caused the processing to abort. Had to start again during NBS3 to NBS0. 11:35pm March 31, 1996. Processing ended at 5:50...total time 6:15 hours.

Matrix reappeared with "Baseline Selection For Session: A" although since it processed 20 vectors, it must have run through the matrix for sessions A and B.

Went to SUMMARY and opted to PRINT file and create ASCII file in GWAY:C:\C\FGCS\ASHTECH.Z12\TESTDATA\086. Print out is in notebook.
