DATA FORMAT CHANGE

A revision will be made August 13, 2003 to the Navigational Aid Data section on the Universal Data Delivery Format (UDDF) in order to report additional information for ILS marker beacon antennas. The point on the the runway centerline extended nearest to the indicated ILS marker beacon antenna will now be reported. The distance between the NAVAID and its associated runway centerline point (CLPT), along with the offset direction L (LEFT) OR R (RIGHT) relative to an observer facing forward in a landing aircraft, will be reported in the "NAVAID OFFSET DISTANCE" column. The distance between the NAVAID's runway centerline point (CLPT) and the runway approach end will be reported in the "NAVAID ALONG CENTERLINE DISTANCE" column. Note that the distance between the NAVAID and runway approach end will continue to be provided.
