NOAA recently released version 3.2 of the Horizontal Time-Dependent Positioning (HTDP) utility, allowing users to better estimate how points on the Earth's surface move due to plate tectonics and earthquakes. HTDP incorporates numerical models quantifying the horizontal crustal motion occurring in and around the United States. The new HTDP version features much-improved models for Alaskan crustal motion.
