Charleston Bridge GPS Height Modernization Project


Using GPS, sensors that will determine the maximum height of a vessel at the lowest point of a bridge. This project plan is for measuring the vertical clearance for the Cooper River Bridges. The vertical clearance is critical for ensuring safe navigation for the Port of Charleston.
