Height Modernization supports the traditional applications of accurate heights (transportation systems, airplane runways, and water delivery systems). Additionally, Height Modernization will support emergency management planning, land use planning and management, and monitoring of elevation changes. Recently, Height Modernization projects have also been applied to precision agriculture, reducing farming costs and limiting environmental impacts.
