Whether you've worked at NGS for 3 months or 30+ years, you're invited to attend an NGS Orientation, to be held October 28th and 29th, in SSMC3, room 4527. The Orientation is designed to be an overview of NGS' many activities - presenters will be using simple and straightforward terms (as much as possible), and there will be time alloted for questions.
If you were hired within the last two years, you are encouraged to attend all of the Orientation. All other employees are encouraged to attend as much as your schedule allows. (In either case, obtain permission from your supervisor.)
Below is the PDF of the draft agenda. Please email Erika.Wilson@noaa.gov if you plan to attend all or part of the Orientation. While you do not have to RSVP to attend, it would be a great help for planning purposes.
The class will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, and a call-in option will be available (number to be added later).
