Summary of topics covered: The North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) and the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD29), and their relation to tidal datums.  This talk will also cover topics such as the National Spatial Reference System, types of heights, the Geoid model, gravity data and CORS and OPUS.
