For estimating displacements or velocities at a set of points, the points may be listed in an ASCII file as may created, for example, by NotePad.

Each record in the file must be of the form

LAT,LON,"TEXT"

where

LAT = latitude in degress (positive north)

LON = longitude in degrees (positive west)

TEXT = descriptive text identifying the point (up to 24 characters allowed between quotes)

Examples:

40.731671553, 112.212671753, "Salt Air"

33.35,120.256,"Communication tower"

Note that the fields in each record may be separated by blank spaces, instead of commas. The quotation marks around the TEXT are mandatory.

The software will ask you to identify in which reference frame you are working.

Also if you want to estimate dispalcements, the software will ask you for the "from" and "to" dates to which these displacements are to correspond.
