The FBN survey presents a unique opportunity for GPS users to upgrade and densify their local geodetic control network. You can help!

What is Required?

Observe FBN stations in three 5½ hour sessions, or 72 continuous hours if possible, in accordance with the published schedule for your state.

Use geodetic quality dual-frequency receivers with NGS "calibrated" antennas and calibrated fixed-height tripods.

Submit GPS data, observing logs and updated descriptions to your State Project Coordinator.

How do I start?

Set or recover FBN stations and write or revise NGS to-reach descriptions as necessary.
