• Two accuracy standards

• (http://fgdc.er.usgs.gov/standards/status/swgstat.html)

• local accuracy ------------- adjacent points

• network accuracy ---------- relative to CORS

• Numeric quantities, units in cm (or mm)

• Both are relative accuracy measures

• Do not use distance dependent expression

• Horizontal accuracies are radius of 2-D 95% error circle

• Ellipsoidal/Orthometric heights are 1-D (linear) 95% error
