SYMPTOM: Erroneous (truncated) paths were generated when using databases
from a variety of different locations.
PROBLEM: The length of the first database path was being used for the
construction subsequent database names. Therefore, if the
path was different, erroneous paths were generated.
CORRECTION: In dbchk.f:
Use the appropriate database index when computing the lengths
of the hd.dat and dt.dat "paths + names".
