GEOID93 / ALASKA94

GEOID93 was the second high-resolution geoid model for the United States computed at the National Geodetic Survey. It contained data for Hawaii and Puerto Rico, though Alaska was not added until the ALASKA94 model.

GEOID93 and ALASKA94 were disseminated on 3 1/2" floppy disks only. They are being made available on the web for historical, investigative purposes only. NGS recommends the use of only our latest geoid model. See the NGS geoid page to find out what that model currently is.
