5. Can I use PKUNZIP to uncompress the CORS data ?

PKZIP / PKUNZIP Version 2.04 will not be able to uncompress the CORS data. The CORS data are compressed with the utility gzip. gzip is more widely used on the various platforms, offers tighter compression and files compressed with gzip can be transferred to various platforms. PKZIP is predominantly used on the Intel platforms. PKZIP Version 2.04 files in general can not be transferred to other platforms and be uncompressed successfully. gzip is available for the Intel x86 platform in the utilities/Dos directory. Please read the file gzip.txt.
