CORS Faq 3

3. The position file for site SSSS is not available. When will the positions be available to the public ?

NGS computes provisional positions daily for all operational CORS. These computations are performed only after NGS precise orbits are available. This occurs almost always within seven days after the data are collected. For each CORS antenna, NGS averages the results from at least ten of these daily solutions to estimate the positional coordinates that the agency adopts for official use. These adopted coordinates are then released to the public no later than 17 days after data collection for the associated CORS antenna begins.
